We’ve been quiet on the Eastenders front lately. So I thought we should get back into it. I know a lot of people (mostly my male friends- who pretend not to watch Eastenders) want to know who plays the new girl, Zsa Zsa/ Tzar Tza/ Za Za.

Zsa Zsa is played by Emer Kenny, who according to my friend is- “Well hot”. Read on for the lowdown.
So for all you eager beavers who appreciate the female form and the, er , ‘talents’ she displays-this is for you. To everyone who appreciates the male form, don’t worry I’ll find you something good soon…
Profile:
- Emer Kenny writes and stars in the online Eastenders spin off- E20!There is some debate amongst friends as to the quality of this show, but it’s got us talking so fair play to them!
- So how old is Emer Kenny? She’s the spritely age of 20 and plays the 16 year old character Zsa Zsa, pretty convincingly.
- Her character, Zsa Zsa, crops up regularly on Eastender’s too and she’s related to Shirley. That’s right Shirley is her Aunty. Mmmmm does that mean there’s a Shirley mark two waiting to appear on our screens…? I’m scared.
- Emer Kenny was born in North London- so the accent may actually be genuine, although some of us think otherwise.
- Kenny starred in the box office hit(mmm, actually not even a hit…) Lesbian Vampire Killers, with Corne and Horden and a number of other BBC shows.
- I have to say she has very nice hair, I wonder what shampoo she uses?
- For some reason there is an awful lot of forum speculation about Zsa Zsa’s height, as yet I’ve not found an answer, but I think she’s pretty tall!
Anyhoo… The BBC describe Kenny’s character as, “Beautiful, funky and an outspoken tomboy, Zsa Zsa Carter has a lot in common with her Auntie Shirley (Linda Henry). She’s very bright, but likes to think she doesn’t need help from anyone.”
In an interview she stated, “I’m really thrilled to have been given the opportunity to both write for and act in a show connected with such an iconic drama as EastEnders.” She said. “Kids these says use their laptops more than their televisions, so it’s really exciting to be a part of a project that’s taking drama online and connecting with these viewers.” Good… I hope she goes far with the entirely plausible storylines Eastenders will bring to her… So a wild child in Eastenders, whatever next- teen pregnancy, suppressed homosexuality and accidental runnings over? Never!?

Zsa Zsa is the new fit one from Eastenders. She has a dodgy old mockney accent and is obviously far too nice to be vicious.
Why do they cast people like this? They obviously went to the posh Drama school and picked her out – but already had the tough girl part written.
All the E20 young actors are pretty unconvincing.
